Here is my opinion on how MM Lee Kuan Yew transformed Singapore to be what it is today. There are many innovative policies introduced by his teams of Ministers.
I would just like to touch on one of it . It is the massive affordable housing for all Singaporeans. I hope that this policy will be made a sacred cow that no successor can change.
Many countries have many empty luxurious apartments which the man in the street cannot afford to buy. There are also many examples of slumps beside luxurious apartments.
When properties prices are rising, everyone is happy, but when property prices fall, many banks have become bankrupt.
