Just have to say something about Larry King

I have a question for Larry King. Why does he wear the two straps over his shoulder? As you obviously note, I am a follower of his show.

A different environment

If Chee Soon Juan wonders why he is not doing well in Singapore, perhaps he should check with a speech therapist. His accent is way out and I am quite sure the way he speaks can't jell with the Ah Bengs and Ah Sohs. He seems to keep banging his head against the wall at exactly the same spot and hope that something miraculous will happen. Perhaps he will do better in Myammar, Africa, Somalia or Darfur. I hope he takes up my suggestion.

Different Perceptions

The rich view magnificent buildings as symbols of wealth. The poor look at these same magnificent buildings and see them as symbols of poverty. Why? Because when they look at these magnificent buildings and they compare it with their own meagre place of living and the contrast is just too much!! Some people look at these buildings and compare them with the homes for the elderly or the disabled. The sick look at these magnificent buildings and wonder why they can't afford to pay for their medical fees and those who have not made it through the education system wonder how they could have been so left out.

1 week from 18th May

....hmmm. Do what you need to do. Take action or just sleep at home and enjoy a bowl of porridge. Sometimes not doing anything is also doing something. Best of luck and hope good things will come about.

More Singaporeans holidaying in Singapore?

I am of the opinion that more Singaporeans will choose to have their holidays in Singapore. I used to enjoy going on holidays abroad in the past to see the mountains and lakes and because they had cleaner toilets. But now that our toilets are getting more decent I would actually like to holiday in Singapore. Overseas tour buses will have to upgrade to provide music players and even laptops to entice tourists to travel long distances in them like what they have in airplanes.

Don't miss Singapore's Orchid Garden

Singapore's Orchid Garden promises an experience you won't want to miss. When you enter the Orchid garden you will feel as though you have been transported to another planet. So lovely, so neat, so clean, so refreshing, so breath-taking. I have heard some tourists' utter admiration at the sight. Singapore is increasingly adding on new species of plants all over the island. Take bus rides and you will be able to see them. Even new birds are coming into my garden. There used to be sparrows and crows but I can see more yellow birds and other kind of birds hopping around.

Singapore's Orchid Garden is located in the Singapore Botanic gardens.
