Leveling the playing field
How many houses should an individual be allowed to own? So much talk about too many people on planet earth and not enough resources. Here is a proposal to level the playing field. Let's say there is a law that says an individual can own a maximum of 5 houses. If each house has an area of say 3000 square feet, this means that an individual can own a maximum of 15000 square feet of residential land. Any individual who owns more than 15000 square feet of residential land will have to pay an exponential levy on every extra 1000 square feet of residential land. I am only using an example of 5 houses, it could be 10 or whatever number that citizens decide on.
